Origins of the Maroubra Beach Markets

The Maroubra Beach Markets project was finalised by Randwick Councillors during their November 28, 2023, monthly meeting.

Following a community survey over the past year, the Council decided to launch monthly markets at Maroubra Beach and Heffron Park, beginning on 5 May 2024 and running until September 2024.

Overall, the Randwick City Markets, part of Randwick Council’s Economic Development Strategy, will undergo a trial period until October 2024.
