A Maroubra vasectomy service has moved directly across Anzac Parade into Maroubra Family Doctors, keeping consultations and procedures in the suburb at a new ground-floor medical suite.

Vasectomy Australia has relocated its Maroubra practice from Maroubra Medical and Dental Centre to Shop T01A, 717 Anzac Parade.
The new rooms are directly across the street from the previous location and are co-located with Maroubra Family Doctors. The facility also provides ground-floor access.
The relocation was announced on 5 August 2026 and took effect immediately, allowing the specialised service to remain along the same Maroubra thoroughfare while changing clinical premises.
The Maroubra location serves men from the suburb and surrounding parts of eastern Sydney. Vasectomy Australia lists Darlinghurst, Bondi, Coogee, Botany, Mascot and Kensington among the areas serviced through the practice.
Consultations Continue With Dr Geoff Cashion
Dr Geoff Cashion, founder of Vasectomy Australia, continues to conduct consultations and no-scalpel vasectomy procedures at the Maroubra practice.
Procedures at the clinic are carried out under local anaesthetic. Vasectomy Australia states that most procedures take about 15 to 20 minutes, while its Maroubra information describes the procedure as taking less than 30 minutes.
A GP referral is not required for patients booking directly with the service.
The Maroubra clinic currently lists a fee of $830. A Medicare rebate of $233 is listed, leaving a stated out-of-pocket cost of $597.
Practical Information for Maroubra Patients
Vasectomy Australia describes an average recovery period of about seven days, although its patient information notes that some men may take up to two weeks to feel back to normal.
Patients whose work involves heavy lifting are advised to avoid those duties for a week following the procedure. Those in desk-based or sedentary work may be able to return to work the following day.
The procedure is intended to provide permanent contraception, but patients are advised that it does not become effective immediately.
Vasectomy Australia requests a semen analysis about three months after the procedure to confirm that it has worked. Until confirmation is received, patients are instructed to continue considering themselves fertile.
